Onboarding + Foundation Materials

I’m honored to help you to incorporate a greater level of intuition into your daily life! Please follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Complete Intake Form

There is a potential for all clients to utilize my skills as an integrative somatic therapies facilitator and fitness trainer. This form allows me to integrate physical processing components to support your work and goals.

Step 2: Set Your Intention

Please have a notebook or journal dedicated to your work here. Get a journal, dedicate it to your work here. Set your intention and declare it to yourself on the first page. Declare your open mind and open heart, and your willingness to expand. Here is an example of an intention; you can personalize it to best suit you.

I [your name] commit to having an open heart, an open mind, and to consistently remain in the seat of the compassionate witness, I will show up and complete the practices here to the best of my ability. I am willing and excited to show up for myself!

What does it mean to be a “compassionate witness”?
It is so easy to be overly critical of ourselves, especially when trying something new that doesn’t have direct, fast, visible results. Choose compassion for yourself. Allow yourself to just be, just… be. That's part of it all! Anything that comes up, thank it for showing itself, thank yourself for looking at it, and you can set it down.  Observe, note, thank ,and release.

Step 3: Ask + Answer the Following Questions

I invite you to free write about your progress as you go along. Writing down your answers to the following questions is a great way to get started:

  1. My personal definition of trust is…

  2. I trust myself most when…

  3. I trust myself least when…

  4. What is a memorable moment that you betrayed yourself?

  5. Without going into the story of this betrayal, can you spot the moment you stepped out of line with what you actually wanted?

  6. Describe your relationship to “Spirit/Source/God.”

Step 4: Utilize the “Yes/No Body Signal” Practice

There are two ways to be guided through this practice. The video below is a guided "drop in" that allows you to give your full focus to your practice. This video is very helpful for the first few times you practice and/or if you prefer to have your eyes closed. You can also download this digital file if you prefer written guidance.

Please Note: "Gut Instinct" was my former program title. Please disregard the call back to that in the video.

Step 5: Answer the Following Questions

Think of this Q+A  as setting data points that we can reference in your 1:1 session. In your journal, write what feels true to you in the moment. Sometimes we can get stuck in the ruts of permanence when we over analyze things—know that you are always welcome to shift your perspectives and definitions!

Please note: In the following questions and steps, I reference your body’s “yes” and “no.” These feelings are different for everyone. Some may experience a heaviness in their stomach, pressure on their chest, tingling sensation in a certain part of your body, etc. These may initially show up as very subtle sensations that slowly increase intensity over time and practice. Wherever you feel it, it is important to acknowledge it and not second-guess it!

  1. Describe what your “yes” feels like in your body and where the feeling is located.

  2. Describe what your “no” feels like in your body and where the feeling is located.

  3. What type of emotional responses do you experience when choosing to follow your “yes” feeling?

  4. What type of emotional responses do you experience when choosing to follow your “no” feeling?

  5. At any point did you feel resistance to following your body’s “yes” or “no” response? Rate your resistance on a scale 1-10.

    1. If so, what came up?

    2. What action did you take around that?

Revisit these questions later in the week and rate your level of resistance (1-10) to follow your cues..

  1. How does it feel to follow a “Yes” feeling?

  2. How does it feel to follow a “No” feeling?

  3. Are you noticing any shifts in your day to day life?

Step 6: Practice and Document for a Minimum of One Week

Integrate the practice of making choices with your “Yes/ No” body cues into your daily life for a minimum of one week. During this time, please log your daily experiences in your journal. This information will give us a great jumping off point during your first 1:1 session.

I invite you to revisit questions and prompts in Step 5 throughout the week, as you explore and note your layers of self and of your perception of reality. Of course, between now and then you can contact me with any questions or thoughts.

Your optional homework is to submit any or all of the following:

Step 7: Tell Me About Your Personal Journey
